I couldn't understand the betting in that race. Summer Patriot going off at much the same odds as him along with one who'd never gone remotely that far. Should have jumped on that, but had decided to quit already for the day.

Thanks, Mackie -- sort of.

Having lost a prime wager on Spice Route, I'm curious to know if the horse just had bad racing luck or if the jockey fouled up. I can not tell from watching the replay. I think the horse was out of the frame when the race caller announces he had to take up. Or am I just blind?

(Thank god for the FG race -- made my day after losing this race!)
