John Mahoney, best known for playing Martin Crane on 11 seasons of “Frasier,” died in Chicago on Sunday while in hospice care, his manager, Paul Martino, confirmed. He was 77. I admired the man's acting ability. Even the way he carried that cane in Frasier was great acting!

I didn't know until I read the obit that he was from England and came here at age 17.Never detected any kind of accent in the different roles he played.
