VectorVest offers a software program that evaluates over 23000 stocks and etf's everyday. Their database goes back to 1996 if memory serves. You can manipulate this data in hundreds of different ways. They offer a five week trial with a fully functional programs for 10 bucks.

I used this program for over 10 years and was fully satisfied. If you have a viable strategy that fits your personal tolerance for risk this program can help. If you put YOUR strategy to work on their top 100 stocks and have patience you SHOULD be profitable. The program has a steep learning curve, any experience with a meaningful piece of handicapping software program would be a big help.

I moved on to FOREX.

Thanks

if the 10 day moving avg over the 50dma, and 50 over the 200 dma, stocks that hit 90 seem to hit 100.

i think market correct here, but 3 stocks at 90 that fits this--crm approaching 90, visa and wdc.

stock must hit 100, at the same it must be at 52 week high or close to it.

It cannot be a stock that was at 200, went to 90 then moves to 100. Pretty much the stock has to be at 52 week high approaching 90. So the new high will be 100 or higher.

I think your analysis of this type of stock is correct. I would be trying to capture the turnaround instead of the tail end of a rally....that is just my style.

VectorVest offers a few free reports, these reports are very comprehensive. I would run your three stocks through their database and take their recommendations.
