NYRA HD Feed
It's quality is like taking wayback machine to 2001. It's completely unwatchable for me.
It's highly touted 'crapola'. On the other hand I never had an issue watching Gulfstream HD stream.
It's ok on TVG, but, what's the point.

I suspect it has something to do with their HD smartphone app which their are pushing at the expense of online customers.
When I compare their track feed on TVG with SA, Gulfstream or Laurel, it's horrible. The comparison is even worse on TVG HD.
I haven't watched races in over a decade, and to see such poor resolution online in 2017, it's really frustrating. If it continues, I am going to pass Belmont meet, besides I am getting annoyed by their irritating NYRA Bets ads.

Now that I know we are talking the picture itself I can clearly state that I can't relate whatsoever. If I go for the HD NYRA video it looks fantastic. I don't know if you watch on something that tries to automatically set your resolution based on connection speed so it won't buffer, but using NYRA's site and opting for the HD feed gives me as good a picture as I could ever hope for. Even on XPressbet you can toggle between SD and HD feed and the the difference is night and day the HD is so superior. Since it is more demanding I look at Andy in low-def if I start early during pre-game and switch for the races to the other feed. Again, looks great, never had a problem that doesn't come with the territory.

Watching on a 4k screen , and it looks fine. If you're seeing a poor picture, there something wrong with your setup

NYRA.com has the best track feed online hands down. Event their app is crystal clear. You can watch also on Roku in perfect HD. More tracks should take note of what NYRA is doing with it's signal and broadcast their races the same.

Cannot be done.....Period.
The feed is via satellite and over fiber optic land based cable. The signal is handled several times.
The only way there is not a delay is if NYRA was to run a fiber optic cable from the track directly to your home.
There is no such thing as delay free internet or television. The closest thing to real time is Over the Air television and terrestrial radio.

How do you know it's a 30 second delay? Do you have a spotter at the track?

Most if not all of the races on TVG are on delay.
Not sure why but they are.
races are in play on the X, and they are not finished loading on TVG.
also betting is suspended (which means the first horse has passed the finish line) on the X and the race is not nearly finished on TVG.
