looking at lee

boy howdy.........now that hence has cemented himself into the list of contenders there's no shortage of horses in line waiting to take his place as the "correct wise guy" horse....lol at replacing the wise guy horse before many even knew he was him. what can i say, i set trends.

if you thought hence lovers and their proclamations were over the top just wait until lee enters the field. there's nothing more the avg joe/ casual handicappers like than big run one closers. especially one's that encountered trouble and are longshots flying under the radar.

i know he's sitting at 21 but i think he'll get in. then the pro lee posts will run rampant everywhere. he'll be the key for many and there will be luv all around him.

but hey,...who's to say he won't outclose everybody if he can manage a str8 line at this distance

disclaimer: box 4 or 5 closers in the exacta. if you're lucky enough to have gunny and lee on that ticket just keep your eyes on the back of the screen in either 18/19/20th spot. maybe if you're lucky one of your five horses will get 3rd.........muhahaha

Lee fits a couple of my angles but would be surprised to see him win with the relative quality this year. I will throw him underneath in my tri wager given he's a Raise A Native with solid closing fractions. I figure if I'm gonna use Gunnevera on there then might as well use this guy too.

And far far far................far back...is Donnaguska

PA, can't wait to see your Derby picks. I would love to see your fair odds line for the whole field, you do such a good job at setting a line for these big races.

I can do the whole field, no problem. But it's likely to be an insane line. My lines tend to skew towards insanity in the big races for some reason.

But that's why I hit horses like Take Charge Brandi every now and then...

the dreaded 1 post.

how can you allow a horse to be put there when they're obstructed because of the rail and must come out of the gate and go right.

no race horse should have to deal with this, especially the one race where it only happens.

KD racing officials or racing's governing board should correct this and not continue to allow such a negatively effected post determine the outcome.

there has to be something they can do

Sure. They could carve out 10 feet of space in the Twinspires grandstand/facility that has been standing there for.......ever?

That will happen well after somebody actually figures out faster than light speed travel.
