Someone should put a bug in state lawmakers' ears about gun control. Apparently, ChicagoLand just can't get enough gun control to stop the mayhem.

Chicago is well known for lax enforcement of gun laws, allowing violators to plea bargain to avoid prison on charges like illegal possession. State lawmakers have tried to pass mandatory sentencing for many gun crimes, but the libs, especially from Chicago, oppose such laws because of the disparate impact on minorities.

I thought all libs hated all guns at all times for all reasons because guns kill. It's libs who champion strict gun control laws, yet in the Windy City they don't want to enforce those laws or pass stricter measures?
