Raiders in Vegas, baby! Well, maybe not
After multi billionaire casino czar, Sheldon Adelson backed out of a deal to build a stadium in Las Vegas in conjunction with the Raiders on Monday, Goldman Sachs announced today they were also pulling out of financing the deal, which puts a severe crimp in Oakland's plans. San Diego though remains a possibility for the Sliver and Black to land.

There are other billionaires in Las Vegas and other investment banks. But I'm surprised the Raiders thought they might still have a deal with Goldman when they just screwed over a client of theirs worth $30 billion. Goldman didn't get where they are by not understanding which side their bread is buttered on.
Happening now with the NFL meeting set for March, this adds enough uncertainty that you probably won't see a move approved in 2017.
The Raiders were staying put in Oakland through 2018 even if this deal had gotten approval. I guess this will add another year to that while they try to work something out.
I hear San Diego is looking for a team. They have a pretty good record of supporting an NFL franchise even if the city doesn't want to give a stadium away to keep it.

It looks like the Raiders are heading to Vegas after all. The Golden Knights will have some competition on the strip.
With all the money that is thrown around the NFL, you would think that Mark Davis could afford a decent haircut, man does he ever look like a jackass.

I need to find a week where the Knights host the Leafs and the Raiders have a home game. Sports nirvana for me......

Its a done deal.
The Vegas Raiders kick off in 2019. Now what is the excuse the NFL will create to block sports betting in all 50 states.
