So you do not think that it is possible with the correct policy and tax reform to avert a meltdown?

And yes, you are likely correct. The DOW at nearly 20K is a never seen before number.

The Dow hit 10000 in March 1999. Doubling it in the almost 18 years since then means the Dow has gone up about 4.1 % annually since 1999 which is BELOW it's average annual price gain of 4.8 %.
There's reason for concern but a 1930's Depression-like meltdown? As Cosmo Kramer might say. " Not bloody likely".

It was a fiery speech by a populist president. It was somewhat disruptive in some ways.
The poltical establishment is in for a rocky road. There was a concerned look in the faces.
Hopefully, they got the message that it is time to go to work for the American people.

Tax reform.
Yeah, right after comprehensive immigration reform.

Tho, Barry did say one thing in that speech that caught my attention ..."The People have Spoken"...

You've constantly made similar comments suggesting neither would ever come to pass.
These two items on the Trump to-do list are actually the easiest things for him to do and get done. I know you're in denial but you'll get over it someday.
So I ask: what makes you so sure Trump can't -- or better yet, according to your kind, he won't -- get these two things done, as he promised?

It was indeed! It was BS-FREE! Trump is a man on a mission and he simply reiterated what that mission is.

Please explain how easily he can come up with immigration and tax plans that the Democrats and the Republicans in the House and the Senate can agree on. Neither party seems at all enthusiastic about anything he has said on those issues to date.
