The first step to repeal the ACA was just signed in the Oval.

When Bush left, I was not pleased we elected Obama. But I thought I'd never see a worse president than Bush. I was ridiculously wrong on multiple levels. After 16 years of idiocy, there's no freaking way this guy will be as bad and those two. I may not agree with him on many things, but he has a functioning brain, he's not totally delusional about how the world works, and deep down inside he doesn't hate America and Christians.

Your faith in the same American electorate that gave us those 16 years is much higher than mine.

That's hysterical.. you've watched and listened to Trump this past year, as he's insulted and demeaned and attacked basically EVERYBODY, and the conclusion you've come to is that he has LESS hate in his heart than Obama

Classic.

There is a difference between not having the political savvy to express a point of view in terms that reflect legitimate concerns without offending anyone (which is what Trump as a non politician kept doing) and actually hating the country because of a history none of us had anything to do with (Obama).

There is a difference between being a pompous asshole and actually hating someone.

Global asset prices have been expanding and are propped up by relentless monetary easing & QE from multiple countries around the world. Eventually, it's going to blow up and cause an extended and probably severe bear market globally. The most critical aspect of that story is what happens to the economy when all hell breaks loose in asset markets. No matter how much you hate Trump for he personality defects, that means the only thing standing in the path of an economic debacle in the US is Trump and the policies he's able to implement. I find it kind of ironic that the people least informed about markets are the ones trying to destroy the only shot they have of not facing that economic debacle and risks to their jobs, pensions, savings, and government programs.

Trump hates individuals... a lot of them, but individuals who make poor choices that are detrimental to a healthy, functioning society.

Obama hates everyone equally. So, yeah, Obama is the more hateful of the two.

Wow, after years of seeing him as a dignified, gracious, thoughtful, magnanimous father, husband, and president.. to find out now that it was just a cold and calculated facade..

I wish I knew in 2008!
