Great turf card washed out at GP and reduced to playing TAM and FG. What might've been.

TAM R4

, Tribal Message: can stalk and get it done -- longshot play

, Patrick's Day: likeliest winner

, Lewis Vale: speed

Ran 6-2-7

exacta box, factoring in my win bet on the 8, got me just slightly more than my money back.

Given this card, that's an accomplishment. Only two more to get through

6-2 exacta: $17

FG R5

, Hail to the Nile: wires them

, Let Us Be Glad: blocked the entire race last out @ KD. No telling if this one has any run

, String King: good late kick last out.

won it, coming again in the stretch, @ 9:2 BUT he might come down as he cut off a horse going into the first turn.

8-7-2-4 (string king is the 2 not the 6)

EDIT: stayed up

Fair Grounds - Race 5
# Win Place Show
8 $11.20 $6.40 $3.60
7 . $4.40 $2.60
2 . . $2.40

TAM R8

, Chang's Secret: arguably the only one in the race with a chance to get 9F

, Weavers Ice Cold: sneaky chart play. Might surprise at a price

, Thunderinwillie: plodder will like the distance

Tell me Greg, I lost a photo at 9:1 and won @ 10:1; when is the last time YOU POSTED a $20 winner? In fact, II have posted a $30 winner, and TWO $20 winners in the past week? Is that a YEAR'S worth of longshots for you?

Go away, DOOFUS. And stop supporting the other idiot that REDBOARDS.
Well gee DOOFUS....I posted this IN ADVANCE....on the same day-Tuesday. The "other" idiot has posted at least 10 $30 winners in advance--if you would bother to read his posts.

I didn't know that people actually redboard on here. I try to get my picks in before post time. Sometimes I do look at the odds board a little too long and may post something late. I see what you mean about posting ahead of time though.

GP washed out again. FG is the only game today.

FG R1

, Hoodue: love his last race. Maybe too cheap but worth a bet.

, Street Rhythm: chalk and supposed to beat these but 4 seconds in 8 starts.

, T'Cadeau: needs patient handling.

No go on the exactas. Lucked out and got the bob.

Oh, and that's a place price that would have Fischer and The Oracle drooling

FG R3

, Cameron Rules: sneaky very good effort last out. Opened 10:1 but is 2nd choice in the doubles.

, Ole Skip Rope: fast close going shorter in same race last out suggests this one should love the extra distance. But he also ran against the setup. Opened 9:5 but will be 3rd choice at best.

I like two more at FG but neither will be a price and I'm not sticking around to figure out exotic plays.

FG R 5

, Oh So Terrible: Ward 2nd timer; blinkers off; speed.

FG R 7

, Cowboy Culture: could turn out to be a nice horse. Very nice debut @ CD.

, Hot Dad: Maker runner is not much but I'm hoping this one takes some money. Will use in exactas but very doubtful this one can beat the 5.
