When I go to Vegas with the wife, we both play for a few hours. What's on your mind?

I practice on comp. but am looking for a program that gives me the best training and info I can get. one that gives me statistics on all hands played. do you have any insights that you would be willing to share?

Bob Dancer, a disciple of Stanford Wong, has a book, "Million dollar Video poker". I highly recommend this book. Get it either on amazon or the Gambler's Bookstore website, out of Las Vegas.....Good Luck.

I was going to say the book by Stanford Wong but if RR named his protege I'm sure it's good. I remember Wong's articles in Gambling Today in the mid 90s. Anyone know what rasgu means?

I like the Double Down machines in the lately unlikely event I'm in a casino.

Anyone remember Vegas World and the greater than 100% payout with the correct play?

Do you remember Bob Stupak's World Famous Million-Dollar Historic Gambling Museum and Casino?

Probably during the 0 or 00 is a push on even money bets promotion. Sklansky came up with some doozies.

I never play video poker.

In terms of -EV gambling, I have exactly two vices. One is horse racing, which I am clearly not good enough to beat but which endlessly fascinates me. And the other is Ultimate Texas Hold 'Em, which is a lot of fun and which I try to play in a mathematically sound manner to reduce the house's edge.

But other than that, I really only play limit hold 'em. I don't even play no limit despite being decent enough to beat the local 5/5 $500 games.
