Well c'mon, they have to give the crowd something. Toss the internet world a bone here and there. Saratoga had been going in this direction long before that governor came around. This meet has been going this way for decades now. And now there's nothing rivaling it. A monkey could engineer this train at this point.

JJ & Chad Brown
So, in an effort to get past the "rules" of the game ,perhaps
this is the way to end (or lengthen) this thread:
Gift Box : started 5 times has 2 wins ,total earnings of 155,000,
and notable class race is finishing third in the Remsen.(Grade II)
Destin: 8 starts total earnings is 730,000 , JJ aboard 6 of those starts
Destin finished 2nd in the Belmont, 3rd in the Jim Dandy, and won
the Tampa Derby; obviously shines on class against Gift Box.
If JJ or his agent accepted the mount on Gift Box, probably due to
issues in securing the mount on Destin, ,and now was offered
Destin, I can understand the wrath of Chad Brown.
Then again, JJ is one of the top Jocks in the world, and in the real world
it is hard to believe Gift Box has any shot winning this race.
Moreover, JJ has won quite a few races for Chad.
long story short: no one really wins this battle of logic or
emotion.
Would be interesting to see if Destin and one of Chad's
horses are involved in a stretch battle....

Maybe I'll be told I don't have enough respect for jock agents, but I'd broken up with the agent before just to get out of the 33% agent fee. I find that, and even the norm 25%, to be far too much. The jock is out working horses in the morning and riding in the afternoon, risking his life and limb each time, and also has a limited career window to collect money for retirement, and the agent takes a third for booking?

Looks like Castellano riding for Brown today hasnt taken him off nothing yet. Or is there any other jock worth picking up in the race in which hes scheduled to ride?

Once again, he didn't split with Brown, he split with his agent.

I see someone deleted my post.
EDIT: You can't post stuff like that if it can't be validated.

That's the word from the backside at Satatoga. Why you think what is being said there can't be said here is a head scratcher. I didn't make a claim that anyone did anything illegal.
You know how we're seeing things unfold that what I posted makes sense. Agent fired, and neither trainer apparently angry with Javier.

Do you know this young man? Apparently not as if you did you'd well know that he has no problem making his own decisions. NONE. He doesn't strictly follow another before him's format, and certainly not, temperament.
Chad's parents are two of my closest friends, I've been in their home, I've been at the track with them since I've been here. You really should stop "supposing" about their son when you do not know him. You caused this thread to morph into a dialogue about Chad. It shouldn't have. Bobby Frankel was Chad's employer, his mentor, however, Chad is NOT Bobby.

According to Castellano's Twitter feed, former NYRA Racing Secretary and current Santa Anita Racing Director, Mike Lakow, will take over starting with the Belmont Fall Meet.

just curious if you could ask his parents why he has OISEAU DE GUERRE in a maiden race instead of making his first start in a stake race?
