So I just made my first bet of the meet at the Spa
Yep, my minor league tracks and regular afternoon harness track is not racing today so I got a Spa program and boy am I disappointed.
Yes, this is a degree of sour grapes, no doubt. I played the 4 and for 20-30 seconds she was not at all settled in the. Didn't matter to the starter who popped the gate open nonetheless.
I get more professionalism from my minor league tracks.

Well hit the second, third and fourth cold and need the 3 or 9 for the p3.
In this cyberspace world where most of us are sitting behind computers betting, how else can one bitch!
Glad to have the input, closest thing to being at the track and arguing with my gambling brethren. I certainly don't want to share Skype with any of you.
For the record my p5 was 4/36/78/46/39.....of course I was not happy when they popped the gate open when the horse was clearly doing a dance.

And the 3 all lathered up in the paddock...I guess I can't blame the starter for that.....Hmmm....who can I blame?

what race was this #4 in?
How bout
race 7 I like the #5 key 4,6,7 but he's chalk.
race 8. The #6 deep closer with a slow start on turf. I want to bet him but afraid, he;ll be nowhere.
Race 9 2,3,5,7,8 exacta key 3 the 3 slow start.
all in all no bets i really like. I hate slow starters they give up too much ground.

#3 race 5 stopped sweating when he hit the track and according to Mig looks great. I hope he is correct.

It'd be nice if 1/2 the races on a given day weren't turf sprints or NYB maidens. I guess I expect Saratoga to feature the best racing. So far through the first week we've seen some okay racing and LOTS of filler.

I remember the days when they did not run NYS Breds at all.
No cheap claimers - nothing under$35K maybe?
No turf sprints.
*sigh*

yeah I had that 4 rated high, I've noticed Horses giving up a lot of ground early are nowhere so far in the meet. These guys are too fast to catch
may. want to look at the first call pace.
