More Weird Stats at Belmont -- 7/2 Morning Lines hit the board in 8 straight on Turf!

I don't know why it's happening but for some strange reason, since May 19th, the 7/2 Morning Liners have hit the board in 8 out of the last 8 attempts on the Turf!!!

What's also interesting is the number of place finishes. There were 10 in the last 24 attempts I don't know how much the exactas paid out but I wish I could have known about this sooner and wheeled the 7/2's on the Turf in exactas!!!

That's a bold statement for me because I absolutely hate exactas!!

There are 2 Morning Line 7/2's on the Turf today at Belmont:

Race 2
#3 Eloweasel -- this one just ran 3rd today

Race 5
#3 Port Au Prince

Let's see if #3 Port Au Prince can keep the streak going to 10 in a row hitting the board on the Turf!!!

#3 Port Au Prince in the 5th race today at Belmont ran 4th was necked at the wire snapping the streak at 10 straight across the board in 11 attempts!!

You're still getting a 34% return across the board so far since May 19th I will be keeping an eye on this situation for the month of June at Belmont!!

16/25 in the exacta. Damn.

Tough to dive into an angle based on ML however. Anybody playing it for shits and giggles, however, would have had a lot of shits and giggles.

The minute a trend like this is noticed, it will stop being a trend.

The second I tell someone about a trend or system, it will suddenly vanish as if by magic.

This is nothing more than a statistical anomaly.

Since this post the 7/2 Morning Lines at Belmont on the Turf only won at a rate of 10% and hit the board at a rate of 36.7% so the trend disappeared for the month of June and July!!!

However, during this same time frame the Morning Line 7/2's on the Dirt was pretty decent winning at a rate of 37% and hitting the board at a rate of 64.8% giving a return of 24% per $2 wager to win, place and show!!!

It was as if the trend switched gears and went on the Dirt it also looks like if you stayed away from the Stakes races you made even more of a return on your money!!!

i remember a year when the home town dog kept winning game after game in baseball. all you had to do was just bet blind the hometown dog and you got rich. the next year it just didn't work! nothing works forever but if you can pick up a trend you can make money with it.

hats off to Oracle for coming up with all this.
