And the short run to the first turn - 476 feet (at a "typical" mile track with a 7-furlong turf course inside of it it's 990 feet) is going to make post positions a huge issue in the Breeders' Cup Mile.

Golden Horn will

not have a problem regardless of ground. Gosh, the Euros are so finicky about Grass.

The only ??? on Golden Horn is can he run another big race after the L'arc and he did something goofy in the Irish Champions, In the US he would have been placed 2nd on the DQ..

$3,000,000 race? Forget about ground, I'm racing!!! , the Horse is warrior, has run in front of the largest crowds in Europe and showed whose the boss, and has the running style for the US.

They only run on turf so they run on a wider variety of turf conditions than we do here. In the U.S. unless it's a Grade 1 they're probably not running on truly soft turf---the race is coming off. So we have a better idea of which of the different turf conditions Euros like.

Yes, Golden Horn is a great horse. You want him at 3-5, you won't be alone on that bandwagon.
