I have the book, or, actually, a friend has it right now. He's trying to figure out if he can program the method into a program that I can use on my computer. He's not a horse player, so it is taking a lot of explaining from me. I'm beginning to think that you must have at least a cursory knowledge of the game, on order to write a handicapping program.

The Amazon price of this book and Dart's interest (among others) got me to googling this title.
I remember a "system" that was garbage, that some may be confusing with this book, I suppose. But surprisingly, it was a thread on PA
http://www.paceadvantage.com/forum/a...p/t-18099.html

This guy claims to have written a program based on SUPERHORSE--don't know if he's referring to the garbage Clint Tracy-type method, or the book

"Superhorse was another product of NMS Publishing, 5711-14th Avenue, Brooklyn, N.Y. 11219. I wrote a program using their system and it was a Super Loser. You could do much better with a handful of darts and the Daily Racing Form. The examples were carefully gleaned and screened to make one believe you could make big money with little or no work. What a laugh. The advertisement was 100% correct in the opening statement. "WARNING The Statements, Claims and Results You Are About to Read Will NOT Seem Believable to You." They weren't then and they aren't now! "
