Saratoga Wednesday

race 1:

D'princess won in May in her second after a layoff, dropping in class and bet down: the same parameters than today. Gets good pace set up here. Time for Angie had a wide trip in a race run too fast for her linking, could rebound to her best after slower fractions.

NP & 3rd

This 34.60 winner smells pharmacology... or speed bias.

race 3:

Was Unrrepented win (1st race) a miracle or some golden rail?

MY MAN AL was bet, showed 22.00 speed over an anti-speed track in Belmont (DRForm info), now drops and get lasix for the first time: Has improved in the morning 49.2 B > 48.1 B. Five pound claimer a big plus.

3rd

race 7:

After two bad runs DEPECHE CHAT comes up to competitive Saratoga (?). First partant of Jorge Navarro at the meeting. With his A game he would win.

I wanted the 9 as well.

Wacky day. The 1a was also supposed to be better than the 1...

Lots of underlays and tosses winning today(and lately), but Irad Ortiz continues to put on a show.

I have Sweet Whiskey as a bet-against later... we'll see if that jinx continues

I probably should have thrown $20 win on that underlayed , because I had $8 in doubles to the entry from the in the previous race...

oh well, I guess I lucked out in the end with the 'other' entrymate anyway...

Race8
key horses:
Irish Nuggets - Irad is in rare form, threat to wire at a price.

Sweet Whiskey - my notes= "bet against next"

Wavell Avenue - Threat for Chad Brown may make a big move.

Katies Garden - Love the match of Alvarado/Shirreffs on this well-meant layoff horse.

R9 I think I'm done betting for the day and seem to dominate this race on paper.

I'm interested in 2 things. Can Irad get more from the in order to beat the ?

and can longshot contend here? We are starting to get into Jonathan Sheppard territory and he should go off at a decent price.
