xpressbet loading for you today (5/6)?
Never happened before. xpressbet won't load for me today. Every other site loads fine.
Just wondered if anyone else having a similar problem.

Thanks for the reply.
On my laptop + sat. Still won't load. Been hours. Twin Spires loaded. Every other site loaded. TV signal strong.
I think it's got to be cookie issue, but we've been having weather so I wasn't sure.

Express bet problems I think are due to what I heard from my friend,
who called them Wed morning that it now only works with windows 7
and newer operating systems.

I have had no problems with XpressBet
This is an interesting thread since often I have problems before others. I have not seen any odd behavior from their website recently. In fact, based on the last post here, I have it open now on my XP machine (which I would not normally use for this) in three different browsers (Internet Explorer 8.0.6001.18702, Firefox 37.0.2, and Chrome 42.0.2311.135).
It has likewise shown no issues on my Windows 8 nor Windows 7 machines. I typically run ccleaner about once a month, so perhaps you have cookies lying around which are causing problems. I know that they recently modified their interface (after a relatively large makover last winter), so perhaps that is the problem.
Another problem that frequently occurs when some individuals can access a site but others cannot is a problem with Domain Name Servers. I have posted this information before, but it may help you. My machines generally have a non-standard DNS Server due to issues I had with my own website years ago.
Here is a relatively authoritative explanation of why you might change your DNS Server:
http://www.howtogeek.com/167239/7-re...y-dns-service/
While you can make these changes at the router level, it may be easier to just modify your PC settings. I am using the Google DNS service and their instructions are provided here:
https://developers.google.com/speed/...dns/docs/using
Good luck!

This kind of crap just frustrates the hell outa me. xpress has always worked perfectly for me. Never one problem. But now it is the ONLY internet site I cannot access.
I'm running vista biz. Have the 7 software but never found reason to change what has been working fine to this point. Very important to me and ESROI to maintain seamless 32 bit functionality.
I've tried every possible solution I can think of, short of restoring to an earlier date, to no avail.
Really appreciate all the responses. Seems I always learn something from stuff like this.
Aha! Just got my son (a genuine pro) on task now. Probly know the prob in short order.
Ain't kids grand?
Later.

I am really surprised that neither clearing your cookies nor changing the DNS server worked. Sorry for the red herring.

Don't go all red herring yet Focus! And thanks a bunch for the input.
We haven't done the DNS trick yet, and that could very well be the prob. The real prob is not knowing what the problem is. There is no error code, no number, nothing but a text message saying "this website is not available".
I'm waiting for my son to get home from work though. Always handy to have someone else to blame!
While waiting I'm frantically copying indispensable files and folders to my backup external HD...just in case! Getting too old to start over with a smile.

Wow. Suddenly PROBLEM SOLVED.
Something on their end. No word about why, no reply to my message, site is suddenly back up and working properly for me again.
Weird deal and one I will note on a sticky in my memory bank. 3 days is a long delay for a necessity.
Makes the idea of having an account at more than one ADW a solid backup plan.

Just received a call from a nice young lady at xpressbet. She had some ideas to offer, but was glad things had already been resolved.
She did tell me that they aren't technically compatible with my Vista Biz OS but that it should work anyway, which it now is.
Just thought it worthwhile to note xpress contacted me personally via phone in response to my email of last evening.
