I've noticed this a lot in the past year. Maybe it had tailed off lately? It was discussed on this board before, I know that much.

Also, keep in mind there are a lot of reasons for vet scratches, and trainers often seek to get them.

Taking note and making it twice. Actually, list can be started prior by going to brisnet/programs and checking dates with list of scratch reasons at bottom of program.

Vet scratch is most often the reason listed that I have seen.

So often I no longer pay any attention to it.
The information is pretty much useless when it gets abused.
Why don't hey just list them as "because I didn't feel like running?"

I think when a horse is vet scratched, they should be barred from running for at least 30 days and have to have a qualifying workout before coming back.

If memory serves me correct,I remember the vet scratches started after all the break downs. Before that,I don't remember seeing as many vet scratches.

not sure why they were posted late yesterday, but nyra.com usually has them posted 60 mins before the talking horses program. theyve been pretty good with that since the end of the belmont spring meet/beginning of saratoga meet.

Do you want to know what they are terrible at?

Giving, like actually giving you your rebates back. Their website says rebates to be given within the first 3 racing days of the new month.

Called today. Was told they might be in by the 6th. Can't tell you how many players were piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiised today.

Twin spires , money was available by the 1st.

Pathetic and unexcuseable.

This deserves a new thread.....
