Also considering that they paid 10k just to retire the horse. Many times if a horse is at the end of his line, the current connections will sell the horse for a reasonable price to someone who wants to give him a home. Not these guys though, they'll just keep racing him till he drops. Saul wasn't ever going to have a happy ending in the barn of Bruce Golden Racing, David Jacobson trainer.

I'm always on the look out for these types when I review replays when handicapping. They have that need and loves to win look.
