Baffert 13 for 34 (38%) w/ debut 2YO in Nov/Dec the last 5 yrs. Sold for 13x the sire fee. Work on 11-6 was unreal. He worked with Tap It Rich (fav in ’13 BC Juv). He outbroke him, ran together and then dusted him by 4 lengths in the stretch.
#4 LOST IN D SHUFFLE
Got away slow in the debut but found a little something late to split the field. Winner came back to run a close 2nd in the G3 Bing Crosby Sat. Sib, Wild Dude, is a G2 winning sprinter.

#1 VEGAS STREET 6-1
#3 JEDI MIND TRICK 2-1
#4 PRESIDING JUSTICE 3-1
#6 ROCKED TWICE
Projects a great trip here behind the likely pace setters in the 2 and 3 post. He won 2 back for 50k here when he stalked from a good tracking spot in 3rd. Baze is a good gate rider and will get him involved. Went with allw type Ethnic Dance in 11-3 work.
#1 VEGAS STREET
Came off nearly a year layoff, dropped in from a 20 length defeat in only start and was claimed for 30k out of the easiest win. He was 4 in front of second who was 5 in front of third. Hasn’t run since but comes back protected. Excellent work tab at SA.

R8 MDN CLM 20,000 – 6.5F - DIRT
#1 BRACKENDALE 8-1
#2 WARRIOR’S RIDGE 5-2
#8 THESHEETSGUY 2-1
#3 DEAD EASY 4-1
#1 BRACKENDALE
Inside speed has been solid here. This one appears to be the controlling speed and draws the rail. He was 3rd in his debut after breaking last, rushing up and just missing 2nd. Was in a strong MSW last out. He was the only one in the field to run in mdn clm.
#2 WARRIOR’S RIDGE
Was 2nd last time in for a tag and he was a length in front of Expo and Fig (a winner of two straight since and beat the top pick by 7). 7 of 11 in the money and all three times Desormeaux has been up. He has a lot of works since his last start. Looks fit.

R9 MSW 56,000 – 6F - DIRT
1 FARINGDON CIRCLE 5-2 Trujillo
5 DAKOTA KID 5-1 Stevens
8 SAYES SO 3-1 Solis
6 CLASSY CHICK 10-1 Desormeaux
1 FARINGDON CIRCLE
Really like her two races in Southern California. She closed into a speed favoring track in her last start but couldn’t catch a highly regarded 1ster for Glatt who was bet down from 9-2 and had little problem wiring them. 4th in that race was comeback winner, Sky Mega, who won with authority in MSW at DMR at a mile in her next start. Female tree produced 1994 Queens Plate winner and millionaire, Basqueian.
5 DAKOTA KID
Deferring to the clockers on this one. Thy really saw something in her last few moves at Santa Anita. Apparently she has been finishing strong in those works. Proctor is 13% in this spot with first timers. Will be better with a race under her belt though.

6 DUDLEY STUDLEY 6-1 Van Dyke
5 GUY CODE 2-1 Espinoza
7 NELLIE FOX 4-1 Pereira
1 GUYFROMTHESKYFIVE
Was 2nd in both starts for the sharp team of Hess/Desormeaux. He was 2nd best to a MSW dropper in last and that winner took a lot of early and late money so he was well meant. Clockers were very high on this one prior to last. Doesn’t face much in here for this 50k level.
6 DUDLEY STUDLEY
Hendricks just so-so with 2YO debut maiden claimers (1 for 13 in So Cal). The winner he had was here at DMR last year and won by over 8 lengths (works similar). In for 10x sire price. Check early betting.

11-27-14 DMR R1 STR ALLW 40k– 6.5F – DIRT
3 MAY BE 5-2 Stevens
6 OH BROTHER GO 10-1 Arias
4 U S CITIZEN 3-1 Van Dyke
1 WATCH IT BUSTER 3-1 Talamo
1 MAY B
Only one start for this first time gelding and it was a huge effort. He spread the field out in a maiden win at PID. The field wasn’t too bad. The 2nd place finisher had previously been 3rd in a 100k Juvenile race at TDN and came back to run 2nd in MSW. Former Pletcher asst trainer has won 3 of last 5 starts. Solid works for this.
6 OH BROTHER GO
Was far back early but made up late ground at SA on a track that was favoring speed. Really like the effort two back when 3rd at this level at 11-1 at SA. Last time on a synthetic track was 3 back at BHP (about a year ago) and he won easily. Likely needed last off the layoff. Better.

R1 MDN CLM 20k– 6F – DIRT (12:30 PM PST)
1 WARRIOR’S RIDGE 2-1 Desrmeaux
2 TAKEIT TOTHE LIMIT 9-5 Pedroza
4 LITTLE BRO GARRETT 6-1 Talamo
5 EXPONENTIALLY 15-1 Hernandez
1 WARRIOR’S RIDGE
He has faced and beaten much stronger fields. His second three back was a big effort as that race has come back strong. There were 5 next out winners, including 1st and 3rd who won 2x since. Desormeaux 4 for 4 ITM on him. Likes this track. Will need to find a running lane in the stretch as he has little speed from the rail.
2 TAKEIT TOTHE LIMIT
Best early speed in the race and this track has been favoring speed at the sprint distances. He was 2nd to a runner that returned to run 2nd at 16k NW2L next out. He has responded well to Pedroza in the last 4 starts (3 seconds and 1 third). Will be sent and look to wire the field.

DMR R1 - MSW 56,000 – 1M 1/16 – TURF (12:30 PM PST)
2 ZIP IT UP 5-1 Van Dyke Proctor
11 WILLING TO TRAVEL 3-1 Bejarano Hollendorfer
6 VINHDICATION SPOT 12-1 Worrie Ferraro
12 GIN RIKI 20-1 Canchari Drysdale
2 ZIP IT UP
Proctor runners always improve from start to start. He is 21% with maiden second time starters. Bred for the grass. Clockers indicated he has a turfy move to him. Closed on a speed track.
11 WILLING TO TRAVEL
Just missed as the 2-1 favorite in his last start for Hollendorfer. He is bred very well for the grass and was pretty sharp on the turf in Chicago. Both clocker reports say he is working quickly.
