Willphorse Analysis
Going to post a few selections here tonight. I will continue this thread for some time, in hopes to gain a little bit of interest from others. This will shed some light on a path that I have taken for quite some time now. Those that have been on this board awhile may have noticed my absence for some time now. I have been back and forth a few times, but have really struck a 'golden road' for a bit, and really wanted to focus on that a bit. As this thread continues, I will also continue to shed some light on this path. Any questions, please ask away!
Mohawk July 8th
R1- 1 Rightinthekisser
R3- 3 Thinkofagameplan
R4- 1 Swiss Bank Hanover
R6- 5 Big Moment
R8- 1 Make Some Luck
R9- 6 Top Class Act

R1- Rightinthekisser- Barn change. Ships north from Vernon. This looked like the right spot with the barn change. Waples takes the drive while drawing the rail.
What happened?
Rail trip, shuffled, pulled top of stretch and just didn't have enough to catch top 3. This looked like a typical 'see what he has' trip. This 2 yr old colt had to race in traffic and had some dirt kicked in his face. Expect much better next out!

Race 2- 1 Star Cover
I did not see this as a bet until I glanced after R1.
Draws the rail. Was well thought of in first lifetime start at Mohawk, leaving for the lead, tucking pocket, then fading in stretch after a tough trip. Shipped into a NW4000L race where this 2YO was absolutely outclassed! To see him bet to 16-1 in that type of race really showed something! Ships back to Mohawk. If he improves on the 1:56.4 mile, he will be right there at great odds. Rail helps!

Was blocked in, pinched into stretch. Favorite was run away winner.
So far, plays are 0-2

Good luck Will, .....We've missed your picks.
I'll throw in one here
Race 4
I'm thinking the 4 and 5 are going to fight early, and if one more gets in the fray (hopefully not the 1) then the 10 has the shot.
Looking for Grand Rewards 10/1 to go off at 4/1, Chad Rozema has him picked, damnit

I will elaborate a bit. All of the selections that have raced, I'm looking at the class, what the odds were, and the trip the horse received. This can tell a great deal about intentions, as well as how the horse is feeling.
The horses that are making their first start of the year, qualifiers tell a lot. I look to see a large improvement between qualifiers!

Thank you gentleman.
I'll throw some out for Pocono tonight as well. For those interested, again, look at the classes, odds of horse in the past race or 2 and the trip the horse had. You will start to see patterns!
