Best Vegas Book?
Gentlemen (and Ladies), I'm heading to Vegas again soon for business and will stay a couple of days for fun.
I've been to most of the major casinos and have used a few of their sports books. Last time I went down the strip for about 7 miles and went to SouthPoint. Although I've been to new casinos like "The Cosmopolitan" I've never investigated their Book.
Just wondering if anyone here favors a particular Casino Sports Book? Looking for suggestions.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks guys for the tips so far.
I found this page that lists the supposed "Top 10" Sports Books in Vegas.
One I never thought of is Wynn. I admire Steve Wynn and enjoy his hotel and Casino. And the S.O. is a huge fan of Trump down the street, although Trump does not have a Casino nor a Book. The list touts Wynn as a very upscale Book.

Wynn also takes future bets if that's of interest to you.

I was in Bally's this weekend for the Belmont. I was with a non-horseplaying buddy and he picked where we stayed(Bally's wouldn't have been my first choice) but it was nice. The clerks were good, they give you points for betting horses, and it was EMPTY except for the big race where the rooting for Chrome was deafening.

If you want to stay off-strip and away from the madness, I recommend Red Rock. It is by far the cleanest and most pleasant place to watch the races as far as local places go and the ticket writers are very friendly as well.
On strip, Bellagio, LVH, Mandalay, and Wynn would probably be best...

Wynn has an outstanding race book, easily the best in town, though I am also fond of LVH if you want to go off the strip. I've been to Wynn on weekdays as well as big days like TCs and BCs. Horseplayers never wait in line behind the sports bettors and they are generous with comps. Also, some BC future wagering open now as well as a new Ky Derby future bet.

For comfort and class, Bellaggio hands down. Also spent a lot of time in Paris' small, but friendly sports book. Free drinks all night long with minimal play.

Well, not I've got a problem. So many good suggestions, I can't decide.
I typically stay at the Luxor (usually very inexpensive but nice rooms), and hoof it or cab it to other casinos.
I'll definitely try Wynn. I may even splurge and stay there. It's five times the cost of Luxor, but I know it's five star plus. We'll see, but I'm definitely checking out Wynn's Sports Book.
What I'll probably do is spend a day at Winn, and then partial days at Bellaggio, Hilton, Red Rock, and Mandolay since I can walk via skyway from the Luxor.
You guys are great. Thanks!

I seldom stray from the South Point and Orleans as the horse player is well taken care of. Red Rock is ok as well. Usually stay at the M or Ballys.

I have free lodging with a friend who lives in North Las Vegas. Aliante is the closest to his house and the Sports Book is spectacular.

Wynn does offer a special race & sports book rate for room. Call the book directly and ask for the details.

I agree with you. But I wouldn't stay there. Love the big screens and usually plenty of windows open. Away from the main gambling area. Back door to step out for fresh air if needed. Bathrooms right there as well/ Food court behind the Book. I noticed they get a big turn out for sports betting as well. My fav place.
BUT.....Everything else like rooms has gone down in my Opinion. Wish the Orleans would upgrade some. Iv'e had some nice days there...But seems on weekends it's hard to find a seat as it's not that large and the Sports book is small as well and kind of overflows into the Horse Players.
