Twinspires not accepting bets fromm NY residents on palm sunday

After handicapping the parx card I attempted to place wagers thru my twinspires acct and read announcement they will not be accepting wagers from NY residents due to palm sunday.
I can see it now This is the day I would have went 5for 5.
Will have to see if the local bookmaker is still alive. lol

XpressBet also has a notice about no bets from NY on Palm or Easter Sundays.

Figures.
Antiquated statute brings it about, as we all know.

Still. One, or two, dark days a year?
Having a break even day isn't all bad.......

You can't place bets with anyone outside of NY, 4/13, Easter, Christmas
NHplay/Amwager you can because NHPlay is NY Based.
NYRA, if they could would ban placing bets with anyone outside of NY.
Dorthy, we are no longer in America...

Why in the world would want to place a bet at PARX on Palm Sunday or any other day. Are you really that desperate for action?

It depends on your paradigm, Robert. I've been at Beulah the last few weeks when I can get there just because it's going away permanently and I want to enjoy it a few more times before Derby Day, the official close. Sad state of affairs there when compared to other tracks, but it is what it is. And you know what? They were very proud to announce that they now Simulcast PARX so that Beulah track goers would have another Track to bet on. Beulah doe not have WiFi so you either have the monitors or you have your own Hotspot and Laptop/Tablet. And you should see the guys betting on PARX.

Paradigm shift.
