Is everyone following this horse yet?

* Ky Derby ~ CurlinO ~ 2015 *

CurlinO should develop not only speed, but even more heart and will to win as well. It's amazing. This horse figures to earn a lot of points/money on through the Winter/Spring campaign........

^ All things considered, the horse seems to be well on its way!! Hopefully everyone will be talking favorably about the colt as we draw closer to KD time. Sending good thoughts for Curlino's continuing soundness. ^

California Chrome/Curlino

The 44th annual Eclipse Awards:

California Chrome named Horse of the Year for 2014........\O/

.......I'd be satisfied if Curlino wins or places in a grade I major prep race and accumulates enough Derby points to be in the field of twenty horses which the colt just might. . . . . . . .\O/ \o/.......

(As of this morning the horse hasn't drilled for about a month).

Thumbs up

Congratulations to Shared Belief for winning the San Antonio Invitational Stakes Gr. II over California Chrome. \O/

Congratulations to Constitution for winning the Donn Handicap Gr. I over Lea. \O/

By the way, Curlino is not on the work tab as of today. I would nominate the colt to the Triple Crown. If not injured there is still plenty of time.

Cool Triple Crown Contenders? 2015

Curlino --> (under the radar or injured) --> Dortmund --> Firing Line -->

International Star --> Itsaknockout --> Ocean Knight --> Ocho Ocho Ocho -->

Upstart

Should one of these horses get in the money in a Triple Crown race I would be

very \O/ gratified. If not, I don't care.

What do you think of the very slow time of 1:46 in the FOY at Gulfstream? Upstart/Itsaknockout/Frosted will need to finish the 1 1/8 Florida derby in under 1:50 for me to consider them a derby winner......what do you say?

Obviously, a horse that can get to the 3/4 mark in fast time and still have a

significant final fraction (the distance varies) is the better horse.

The classier the horse the faster the time at this pole IF he or she has anything

left thereafter. Check to see if a horse NEEDS to be near the front at the (1/2

mile pole) in order to turn in one of the better performances. If so, see if they

are going to have any competition vying for early position and if so, then cross

compare all times.

Upstart is better IMO than Itsaknockout & the bumping, etc...caused the last quarter to close the final time so slow.

The times in the other quarters were good times. Upstart should show his talent by winning & showing everyone he should never have been taken down anyway. I can't believe the stewards didn't take down Frosted for coming out onto Upstart.

Arrow Sunland Park Derby Points

I wonder how many points I'll have to add to Firing Line's score 50 - 20 - 10 - 5 (?)....or if any since as everyone knows anything can happen during a horse race.
\O/ The horses will be running for the $800,000 purse in the Sunland Derby G-III at my state of residence.

I know anything can happen in a horse race, but if you have that kind of mentality, you will always talk yourself out of playing a horse & then will bet 3 to 4 horses while all along you had the winner.

The question you should ask yourself, is it worth laying money on Firing Line at these low odds, & my answer is no. I like to receive even money or better.

I see people saying, the horse is a huge chalk, I will try to beat him, lmao, smh, if you can't beat a horse, just don't bet the race. I saw it all last year with Cali Chrome, people trying to hear a horse because he was only paying $7.......that's the best $7 you will ever see on him.

Anyway, this is a prep race, & there will be other horses trying to win to get an entry into the derby which can be dangerous as well, but I think Firing Line wins & compliments Dortmund quite well.
