Solitaire

When playing solitaire with the program that came with Windows XP and I play hand after hand with a long unbroken line of losses, it seems to me that if I quit the program and restart it I get a winner within the first two or three hands after the restart.

I just made my 24th solitaire. That gives me 24 wins in 232 attempts. Never noticed what you stated.

True. But then I play the game just to relax. Thinking ahead too many moves is hard work and stressful. I get enough of that playing chess.
