Not a bad year for teams in the old Southwest Conference. Two are going to the final four

Three were in the final 8

Both sides of the women's final (Arizona and Stanford) and UCLA being the ONLY team to come close to the Gonzaga undefeated string.

Most collegiate team national championships
Institution Location NCAA Team Titles
Stanford University Stanford, California 129
UCLA Los Angeles, California 119
USC Los Angeles, California 115
Pennsylvania State State College, Pennsylvania 55

Major upset? - is that why Biden's dog bites? Major should be tested for rabies.

There are some Baptists in waco that would like to have a word with you....

This is hard to watch. Saint Mary's and Pepperdine didn't prepare Gonzaga for what they're facing tonight.

Bears needed that halftime break. If they have the energy they had in the first 10 minutes coming out of the break (and so far they look like they do) then they can keep the lead long enough to make it tough for the Gonzos. If it gets inside of 10 at 10:00, anything goes.

Baylor hasn't moved the ball well inside since early on. Superior athletes have ruled the day. Gonzaga might have finally run into a team they can't handle

Still think they might have a run in them. If baylor sleeps it could get interesting

I think it's getting close to reaching a critical mass, or something like that.

Too big a lead, too good a team, some big white guy getting his butt rubbed on the sidelines....

Timme's dad played at smu, his mom was a student athlete at SFA. Good kid, played at Richardson Pearce (northern Dallas suburb). Right now he's being owned. Pacific or Santa Clara, > this is not

Indeed. It's over. Never thought I'd say these words... Baylor has been by far and away the best team in the tournament

As Dick Enberg might say, and did 40 years ago when the Hoosiers swept to the title, borrowing from the track, "Much the best."
