GWB on Kimmel

Very engaging interview by Kimmel, both he and seemed to enjoy themselves immensely..

Pretty impressive the way he has managed to step in at the right time and re-write history as one of our most beloved former presidents.

It's amazing how Trump has made George W. Bush more beloved then ever...imagine the kind of reaction he would have gotten from the Kimmel audience a mere eight years ago...

I always thought that he was a good guy, just a lousy President who was easily swayed by the evil Dick Cheney.

Bush is a good man. For all the bashing, he wasn't as bad a President as people say either. I think many neglect to look at the other ways we could've gone after 911. Maybe he wasn't the best President ever, but he didn't inherit a cakewalk like Clinton before him.

I never thought another president would be as poorly treated by the press as GWB was. Now of course there's Trump.
History will never place him alongside the great presidents, perhaps the most misunderstood. He was sincerely dedicated to his work and kept us safe. He identified the enemy and was energized in removing it. He made his share of mistakes, but his heart was where it belonged. i think the nation slept better at night.
Not nearly a great president, but imo a good one.

In the event we had to go to war with Iran, Saddam Hussein Abd al-Majid al-Tikriti would not be something in addition being very dead. Today we have Vladimir Putin as part of what we have to deal with. The correct choice was made by the American people on who to deal with the problems of our day. The left has been swimming inside a pool of demonic forces, nothing they touch can end well. You watch the filth of these people who just failed to regain power, it will be plentiful and proven. Talk of shadow government is everywhere, and my projection is that it will be catastrophic for them locking them out of being a national party for a very long time. I would not view President George W. Bush or Dick Cheney in a harsh light.

If everything was so rosy then George Bush would have easily won re-election.But it wasn't, which is why Clinton won so easily. The country had just come out of a recession at that time, with a weak recovery.
