Swipe never lost his action. So I knew they wouldn't take it down.
But it sure looked live like every time Swipe drew abreast, Guttierez xame in, and Nyquist pulled ahead again.

If that is a DQ, we'd have DQs in half the races run in this country. Moving this to the DQ thread.

Missed that it was a rider's objection.

Now i wasn't going to even bother posting this but i must Mountaineer 5th race... at a track where they take you down for breathing too heavy on another horse or look the wrong way.. how does this race become official before the winner even gallops out. the around the turn in to the stretch veers in at least 2 paths and knocks the wind out of the yet they don't even bother to even look at it

The 9 was all done, bump didnt affect outcome.
However, 'affecting the outcome" isn't something that Mtn judges care about, a foul is a foul is what they go on at this place, so who knows why no DQ here. The winner didnt maintain a perfectly straight line, why no DQ is certainly inconsistent with how they usually rule.

It seemed like the fastest official posted in the history of racing. My point is there was a couple things going on that race. and they didn't even bother. race was official like 5 seconds after they crossed the finish .. my poker buddy wanted to bet a little, he bet the winner. i told him that there's gonna be at least an inquiry don't get too excited yet.. then they do that

They only make it quickly official if I didnt bet the race or didnt have the winner.

Absolutely sick over my DQ with the 2 race 3 @ Gulfstream
I took a month off of the track. So far today I have 2 winners. Both winners have to sweat an inquiry. Won 1 lost 1. Never easy. The stewards just took $900 out of my pocket because the 1 overreacted

Surprised there is nothing about the non-dq in the G1 QEII at Keeneland yesterday. That one is baffling to me.
At the very least, how was there not even an inquiry posted?

I would have left it and suspended the jock on the 6 for unsportsmanlike conduct detrimental to racing.

Woodbine race 9
Oct 12. Woodbine race 9.
So the entry and go off at odds on at 1-2. The gate does not fully open for the . comes in 4th. Inquiry. After 10 minute inquiry they rule the entry is a non-runner/scratch even though the ran and finished. Strange....

I thought that was bullshit. 7-1 winner gets 5-2. "We will have the bettors reimburse you for our screw up."
IMO they should have ate it if they determined their equipment was at fault. I know that's a pipe dream. They would likely rather declare it a non race and refund everything.
I'm sure people would love to pay a 25% vig for this shit. We are all idiots for hanging on.
