Lots of people, including seasoned attorneys, don't see it that way. The clear videos, where he WAS pointing his gun at someone, absolutely show that he was doing so in self-defense...nothing less.
Regardless, the burden of proof "beyond a reasonable doubt" (i.e. no doubt) has not been met, IMO. If it were, there would not be so many differing opinions; most of them weighted in self-defense. Consider the source, as well, of most of the people declaring otherwise.

No video, testimony.
By Baby Rambo himself.

I gotta say, after listening to the Judge explain the law for self defense, and watching the video in the closing arguments by the moron prosecutor who is doing a tremendous presentation today, Kyle is guilty. He did not act in self defense.

From the videos I've seen. I did not see him pointing his weapon willynilly at random people.. and he sure as hell did not spray and pray like boyz from the hood all Rambo style. No innocent bystanders where shot by him.
As for provocation... depends on the circumstances. The pointing of a weapon... can be used as a deterrent to a perceived threat... with out a shot fired. While allowing you to be at the ready if further action is required. In this case I say no they are slinging shit in the hope something sticks.

COME ON MAN, that was after Rittenhouse pointed his gun at people, like this guy pointing gun at jury. After being 'threatened' it is permissible for mob to chase down and injure/kill someone like Kyle.

No video, meaning I am not basing it on any video, blurred or not. I was referring to testimony by Rittenhouse. Early on, a guy thought Rit pointed his gun at him. He asked him if he did and Rit said yes, to avoid a conflict. But by doing so, anyone around him were under the impression that this kid is walking around pointing a rifle at people.
The only time I changed my mind was after listening to hours of testimony and videos. I do not agree that he acted in self defense in every charge. I do think, however, that there is ample instances of prosecutorial overreach for a mistrial, or even dismissal of charges with prejudice. The most important thing going on is that we can't allow government to use these kinds of sleezy tactics against the accused, no matter who they are.
btw...now, 12:35pm est, jury may soon coming back to review video. What video may be telling how they may be leaning.

OMG, wouldn't it be ironic if he shot the jury!
btw, I have not heard, or missed it, but do we know how many rounds he fired in total? We know he had 30 rounds to start.

You can see the guy he shot in the arm and you can see the guy he shot that falls to the ground (he died), but one other person died. So they may have been chasing him because he killed someone else first. We have to see that video too.
