Rick - I sent your question to Steve-the-Programmer...his response:
Yes he can code it in, but would have to charge for his services.

I'm almost embarrassed to post this...when making up a pick-4 ticket, I usually throw in a low-price "saver" horse or two.
Got carried away evidently...my ticket won the pick-4, oh yeah. The big bomb on my ticket paid $6.40-with the other 3 winners paying about $3 apiece.

Hit a pick-4 and netted $3 bucks...that's actually funny

Steve-the-Programmer

How much does Steve the Programmer charge? I would love to cut down on my prep time prior to analysis by possibly printing to an excel file from all your programs.

You and anyone else are welcome to ask for a quote...he's not the most skilled programmer, but I've checked around and he's reasonable. Also, you want someone that knows handicapping. Steve fits the bill.

Good luck

Save the consensus as a .pdf file. Then convert the pdf to .xlsx file. This requires an upgrade from the basic adobe reader but its like $10 or so and well worth it if you use .xlsx files

Parx early pick-4

Exotic Bets! nails the early pick-4 at Parx (again). Seriously this is sick.

Let's try Mountaineer "live"...here are the Ability Top-3 (we are only using the top-2 for this)--on a couple $8 pick-4 ducats. Your win % will be low...so you want your p-4 sequence to contain some prices. If not--pass. Take a look at my earlier LAD p-4--sometimes those weenie payoffs are unavoidable.

So, the 1st 50 cent p-4 attempt:

RACE 1 / / / = $8.00

And the 2nd try:

RACE 5 / / / = $8.00

Keep in mind, you'll lose almost 9 out of 10. It's the big hits that keep you afloat, as long as you have the bank to outlast those lean times. Anything over $100 is good-that's equal to 12 bets added to your bank.
One other thing...use wagering discipline, especially when starting out--stay in the $8 range (2x2x2x2). If you play all 3 horses in each race, that's a $40 ticket. Lose, and you just lost the equivalent of 5 pick-4 wagers.

Good luck--call me with any Q's

Yeah. In the examples above are those just the Platinum or Ability numbers found in the Platinum program.

"In the examples above"...are you asking about the MNR EXOTIC BETS! card titled "HORIZONTAL ABILITY" - all-13 races, posted above?

If so...the answer is no. PLATINUM and EXOTIC have slightly different upgraded ratings- not altering the final ranking in many cases. And some will possibly be completely different.

You could use PLATINUM for horizontal wagers, as with most every software program.

Best 5 consensus had the winner in the first race at Belmont today for $62. How many programs can say that.

BEST-FIVE EMERALD 6-10

Anyone playing Emerald? I personally have profited a little bit there-not that easy with such a short meet.
Not to mention it seems to rain there every other day.
