Chris Griffin at NYRA

I know this is a tough crowd re race callers, but I've watched the NYRA feed so far this year and think Chris Griffin has done a very nice job so far at NYRA. Very clean race calls, for lack of a better way of putting it.

The NYRA America's Day at the Races broadcast of Griffin and old pro Stauffer at Oaklawn has been very enjoyable for this old school fan.

The winter racing action at Aqueduct . . . not so much.

But Griffin has seemed very solid to this decades-long fan. Wanted to give him props. I await incoming missiles.

I'm pretty sure he used to call some races at the CA Fair tracks when I was playing them. I liked him a lot.

LOL - good stuff. "old pro" is a compliment. "old" . . maybe not. Take your pick, old timer!

I enjoy your race calls and those of my original subject. Nice to have some fun here and not take it all too seriously.
