Blurry Print - Modern Pace Handicapping

I ordered Modern Pace Handicapping by Tom Brohamer from AbeBooks.com and have just received it today. (MPH 2000 version)

Unfortunately upon examination, I realized that had this book been available to me in a bookstore I would not have bought it. I will let AbeBooks.com clearly know of my dissatisfaction. And if I can find a source to purchase a clearly printed copy of MPH, then I will try to get my money back. I've never had a problem with books bought from Abe previously.

It seems bizarre to me that the PPs are so blurry. Even though many of the numbers are discernible it's unpleasant look at such shoddy printing.

I tried googling this but found very little mention of this situation.

So does anyone know where I can get a year 2000 version of Modern Pace Handicapping with proper clear printing?

Thanks for your reply.

So your copy is just a little blurry? My mint copy has PP pages that looks like the book was dropped in a snowbank.

Some of the PP's are blurry and hard to read...They did a bad job of taking pictures of them.

Photos of Blurry Print in MPH

Attached are photos of pages 306 & 307 of my MPH.

Is it just me, or would anyone else have a problem with the blurry PPs shown in these photos?

I had the same problem, I'm sure it was a printing problem. Decided to purchase the first addition and gave the latter edition away.

My first additions has some blurry, but readable stuff.
The New edition is pretty good.
