Met him three times ( years apart) and each time he has been gracious….friendly…. and thoughtful….. Glad he will make an appearance. Seems he has been absent for awhile. Likely enjoying his retirement. He has been an asset to the sport on many levels. Highlighting the pursuit of intellectual handicapping and shining a needed light on the “magic” producing trainers.

That's fantastic. Was that his singular pick, or have there been or others. Thanks.

9 races so far, top pick won:
Race 2 - 3.20
Race 3 - 8.70
Race 4 - 2.30
Race 7 - 4.20
Race 8 - 31.80
Race 9 - 9.60

He's got the 4,2,4, and 11 on top in races 10, 11, 12, 13. You can see how they do.

But even with an 0 for 4 on those it would be $26.00 in and $59.80 out for a $1 return of $2.30. Not a bad day.

Should note that with the 4 scratched in race 12, his second choice was the 3, which won - to go along with the 2 winning in race 11.

Amazing day!

Amazing day!
So to the original total add:

Race 11- $5.40
Race 12- $8.10
Race 13 -$4.30

9 winners on top in 13 races for a total of $77.60 out for that $26.00 in. $2.98 per $1.00 wagered. Wow. Was a lot of fun to watch this play out over the course of the day.

I'm thinking he also was pretty likely to have hit the pick 6, since the winner of the 10th race which he missed was his second choice.
