Sloppy tracks are not my friend..

TLG had the first 4 picks the same as mine the other day when I posted the night before. I know what he is going to say. His picks are put in days before. Yeah right.

He doesn't pay attention to works..Never bets first time starters and seems to play favorites more then I care for. He will likely get a higher win percentage but my mid to long price winners will over take him in the long run when it comes to ROI. We're only halfway into this contest..May the best handicapper win. You know who that's going to be..

He puts his picks in the night before, the same as you should be doing (or at least post them before his gets put up in the morning).

If you put your picks in AFTER his are posted, you get the benefit of seeing what he has picked, and altering your selections accordingly in attempting to win this little contest of mine...I'm pretty certain he doesn't care enough to look at this thread before posting his picks on the NYRA site...but that's just a guess on my part...

I stand corrected...he doesn't put his picks in the night before...he submits them at least 24 hours prior to post time, and often times 36 hours prior to post....

Situations that may necessitate adding or changing picks:

After scratches a situation may arise where he is left with not enough picks to fill the required slots....thus he may have to add a third or fourth choice....

or

Unexpected rain that may move a race off the turf, thus his dirt picks are substituted for his turf picks (on turf races, he submits picks for both dirt and turf beforehand).

Hopefully, this clarifies the situation (at least it has for me).
