Raybo, don't think of the word, melodrama. Melodrama is cheap, and 99% of the time, created, unfavorably, by others. It warrants little of our attention. And even less of our energy!
What you are now fighting is a crisis of the greatest magnitude. No drama there. It's going to take all that you and Samara have for you to survive.
Stage 4 is a scary term. But my friend's husband in April was diagnosed with the same, though, his cancer is leukemia. Just like you he knows God is with him, and he is fighting mightily at Duke.
The two of you. You and Samara will continue in my prayers because, along with God, behind every good man is a good woman. She will be there, every step of the way, with you. <3

Hi Raybo,
You helped my golf game several years ago with your intro to me of equal length clubs. Many members still complain: Why do I have to give this Guy such a big handicap?
They say that “laughter is the best medicine” and I hope that some don’t find this inappropriate but here goes:
Caddy quotes
Number :10
Golfer: "I think I'm going to drown myself in the lake."
Caddy: "Think you can keep your head down that long?"
Number : 9
Golfer: "I'd move heaven and earth to break 100 on this course."
Caddy: "Try heaven, you've already moved most of the earth."
Number : 8
Golfer: "Do you think my game is improving?"
Caddy: "Yes . . . . You miss the ball much closer now."
Number : 7
Golfer: "Do you think I can get there with a 5 iron?"
Caddy: "Eventually."
Number : 6
Golfer: "You've got to be the worst caddy in the world."
Caddy: "I don't think so . . . ..That would be too much of a coincidence."
Number : 5
Golfer: "Please stop checking your watch all the time. It's too much Of a distraction."
Caddy: "It's not a watch - it's a compass."
Number : 4
Golfer: "How do you like my game?"
Caddy: "It's very good - but personally, I prefer golf."
Number : 3
Golfer: "Do you think it's a sin to play on Sunday?
Caddy: "The way you play, it's a sin on any day."
Number : 2
Golfer: "This is the worst course I've ever played on."
Caddy: "This isn't the golf course .. . . . We left that an hour ago."
And the Number : 1 . . . . Best Caddy Comment:
Golfer: "That can't be my ball, it's too old."
Caddy: "It's been a very long time since we teed off, sir."
Bonus...........
And last but not least, an old favorite . . . . .
About the Golfer who has been slicing off the tee at every hole . . . . .
He finally gives up and asks his long suffering caddy..............
Golfer: "Can you see any obvious problems.........?"
Caddy: "There's a piece of shit on the end of your club."
Golfer: He picks up his club up and says, "I don't see anything."
Caddy: "Other end."
Really pulling for you,
Tape Reader

Wow, I'm truly humbled by you guys (and gals). This is, without a doubt, the best set, of all the datasets of people, on the web! I may be slowed a bit for now, but am determined to find the software resources and aides needed to get back up to speed, ASAP, regarding my activities here on the best racing forum in existence!
Ya'll are the best!!

Ray, it is heartening to read that you and your wife are fully on board with the battle ahead. And please do not hesitate to take the harder road with regard to treatment options. There is a reason some options are more difficult, but you will come out the other side whole regardless. I promise.
You will be in my thoughts. Tom
