BEL New York Stallion Stakes R9

Really tough race that you can't avoid if you are playing any late horizontals at Belmont today.

7F turf tilt for NY bred 3YO fillies. They don't get much tougher than this.

Royal Dancer: Flashed some solid speed last out and while she faded a bit late, she was beat by a next out winner. Rail kind of forces the hand here, but she has to be seriously considered.

Dream Central: Maiden that hasn't done much running to date in 6 career races. Have to let her beat me.

Howdyoumakeurmoney: Gotta love the name. She has been running in this company for a while, and has been competitive. Jose gets back on board and the only jock to guide her to a win. A must include.

Galaxina: Numbers say she fits, but the dirt to turf angle isn't Bond's specialty in the least. Won last out at a monster price as well. A begrudging toss.

Shigeko: Lone win was on a sloppy track. Turf debut wasn't bad. Clement/Rosario will drive odds down below where she should be though. First race as a 3YO and fresh off a bullet work. Feel she is more pointed to a run at Saratoga and this is the 'needs one' race.

Bank of Anna: MTO

Liberty Flame: Has flashed speed, and adds blinkers today. First time turfer with a tough Turf pedigree to like. Pass.

Half Birthday: Needed MC company in her 9th start to bust through. Significant class jump, but the turn to turf her last 2 has been solid. Gonna pass, but she'll be a monster price and certainly wouldn't surprise me if she hits the board. Solid exotics filler.

Silken Dollar: Same track, same post, same distance, same surface last out winner in gate to wire fashion. May not get the lead here though. Gotta defensively include.

Shinfull: Speed and fade has been her story in her first two races thus far. 3rd jockey in as many starts, and she'll need to pass horses for the very first time. Pass.

Robyn and Eli: 1st start as a 3YO and has been very competitive in her 2 starts to date. Will be overbet due to the Chad Brown angle, but you simply can't let this one beat you in horizontals.

Morning Matcha: Another that the numbers say she should be more than competitive. Back to back graded stakes races in her last two. Now she is 1st time on turf, and should be rolling late. Probably a good post for her as she will be clear and not have to deal with much trouble other than passing all her rivals. She blows away her rivals with $333K in winnings thus far. Can't let her beat you in horizontals.

in horizontals

Leaning towards the if I can get her at 5/1 or better
