Was glad to see your opinion on the no-call. Reassures me that the incident was worthy of the extent to which I addressed it on the air.

Right, according to social media there is at least one new "worst call ever" every week. This one isn't even in the same galaxy as many, once again watch the 2nd at Belmont on 5/8 which is basically the same as this one only FAR worse, though it should have been a take down.

I've never had a problem with being able to speak to the jocks about an incident.

Of course I expect them to advocate for their position.

However, I've had many times when they explain what they thought happened it makes me look at the film from a different point of view and expands my considerations.

All I can come up with is that the stewards saw the jock frantically whipping his mount on the right side and doing everything possible to keep his mount from further bearing out into his rival. And maybe they wanted to reward his effort. And maybe the other jock also realized the potential for problems and also appreciated the effort?

When conducting an inquiry for placings the actions of the jockey's are irrelevant. Stewards look only at the horses. 2
