i thought legs were referred to as horizontal bets ie pick 3s 4s ect. thanks

I played a $5 exacta at a California track --- Even money/even money/with 2 horses, cost $10.00, that paid $600.00 because a 30-1 won the third leg. Would that same ticket pay $120 with a dollar unit? Maybe $75?
Nice catch.

My stupid mistake.

I should have wrote that the pick 3 was a $3.00 minimum, and that's what I played for $6.00,

The pay out was still $600 and believe it was because of the larger minimum.

I recall hitting a $1000 pick 3 on a $12 ticket back when Hollywood had a $3 minimum, so I'm looking forward to the wager and 15% takeout.

The problem I have is that hitting a "Pick 1" at Keeneland is difficult.
