Write in votes:
Luther Strange 5,622
Lee Busby (Marine Colonel who made a late write in bid) 3,592
Jeff Sessions 267
Nick Saban 264
Others who drew significant support:
Phil Robertson (Duck Dynasty and not an Alabama resident), Mickey Mouse, Spongebob Squarepants, and “anybody else” or “anyone else”.
Meanwhile grandstanding clown Roy Moore is giving Francesco Franco a run. One is still dead and the other still hasn’t conceded the obvious.

This why you throw a life preserver to a drowning guy - never swim up to him, he will only drag you down with him.
Merry Christmas, hope your new year is..........well, Merry Christmas anyway.

You have a guy in the middle of a raucous celebration who says we came from all over to vote and canvas. Well, last I looked, all over includes Alabama. So, of the people in the room-or on the campaign, people from all over got out the vote, canvassed voters and in general worked to elect Jones, but only those who lived in Alabama voted.—

Even when I'm wrong, I'm right.

Turns out the guy did vote in the Alabama Senate election. He is a registered voter who has lived in the state for more than a year. Merrill has closed the investigation.
It is the height of stupidity to open an investigation based on a random utterance at a party. On the other hand, look who we are dealing with here.

Either way the GOP takes that seat easy.Even if it's Roy "Youngblood" Moore.

Jeff Sessions apparently has had his career wrecked by Trump.
Any normal situation... yes... he wins this thing for fun. I've heard though the President has pummeled his stock so bad it now seems out of reach.
Trump would have to apologize and admit Sessions is actually a great guy and let's face it... he's not capable of that.

Yes.
If Trump is anything at all, he is consistent with his put downs.
In addition to being consistently bad at just about everything.
