Mastery
I know BB has been training him but I thought he may go in the San Felipe. Does anyone know what BB's plan is with this guy?

Thank you Nancy. I didn't see Mastery on the nominations for the San Felipe.

Not sure about the campaign on this one..baffert seems to be pretty patient with this one. Lots of hype but haven't really heard anything its based upon. Seems kinda sneaky with this one

It seems that Baffert is firmly in the camp that a 2 prep campaign is preferable whenever possible. He's correct to feel that way. This one has really done nothing wrong but has yet to run a "fast" race... We'll see

Gormley, best 3yo out of Cali this year
Best match up this far on the derby trail
Mastery is a good one, just not as good as some of his strongest supporters believe

I agree he's done nothing wrong but I don't think he's done enough to have all of the gushing over him. Nobody has exactly blown my socks off this year and other then being "the baffert horse" for awhile I'm not sure what's all there. This Saturday will be the pass or fail.

Looks like Mastery could be washing out. Don't know if that will affect the way he runs.

Doesn't look super serious but doesn't bode well for his future on the derby trail
