Hello All,

Slim picking today, at least before I see the tote, I am working today and may have limited time to post bonus plays. Here are the races I'm looking at before scratches, weather, etc,

Bta6 5 1/2F Claim4000n3l

Tied for third on my line at 9/2 is Early Retirement, 6-1ML. All the horse above him are coming off layoffs and this Gelding drops out of allowance company back to a level he belongs at after showing some speed to the 1/4 before stopping first start back from a layoff. Should be up near the lead in this one, jockey Mojica is on fire which is probably not going to help the price
Pick @ 7-1 or better


Lrl6 6F WClm10000n2l

Tied for first on my line at 6-1 is Five Card Draw, 12-1ML, show a nice closing kick in last vs 5000 claimers which was the first race off a layoff. Steps up off the claim and could be a price due to the closing style.
Pick: Five Card Draw @ 10-1 or better.


GG7 6F Clm20000n2lx

First on my line at 4-1 is Sing in the Wind, ML 5-1. Ran at 5F on turf in last first off a layoff and did not show much but had a sneaky little gain in the stretch into an 11.60sec final 1/8 vs open 20k claimer. Gets back to her preferred dirt surface here vs conditioned claimers.
Pick: Singing in the Wind @ 6-1 or better


GG9 1M Clm3200n2lx

Actually looking at two horses in here. The first one, tied for second on the line at 6-1 is Chieftains Lad,ML10-1 owns the #1MP pace fig in the race,and drops in here after a horrible looking race on the turf vs. better. The second horse is Baby Frankie, 10-1ML showed decent speed in last 1M vs open claimers. Should fit well vs. these.
Pick(s) Chieftains Lad @ 8-1 or better
Baby Frankie @13-1 or better

That's all I see early, will at least try to update these races based upon scratches or weather but no guarantees today.

See attached and remember I have it set to TWO EXCUSE mode not last race

PS....looking at last race only is the last thing you want to do, this is what the public bets off of, I am normally looking for horses that had an "apparent" bad last race

Go to Edit/ Preferences/ Form Cycle Windows and then set General Default window to Two Excuse Mode...….otherwise you can click on two excuse at the top of the BM window but you have to do this every time you switch the screen or the race. The first way I said defaults it that way so its always in two excuse on BM screen

Matt....I'm going to say that you didnt get your odds on the GG races...

This is what burns me up ....getting winners and not betting

That was great capping ....but nothing to show for it...

I had the 4 in the GG7 because he was 6-1 loading then dropped to 5-1. It doesn't bother me at all not to bet those horses like the 8 in the GG9.
If Im going to bet I want to be paid fairly for being right, in my opinion the 8 was worth 13-1 he went off at what 9/2? Not interested...…..I can pick winners all day long and Im still gonna lose money if I am not getting fair value.

I don't know what it could be, I have a lot of settings tweaked from the defaults just because it suits me and over better than 18months of use, I have got it where I like it

Without seeing your settings I may not be able to help you.
Maybe you had the bias set different, mine was set to neutral

Your capping was good on the horses you liked...

but you didnt mention why you didnt choose the horses above them...
