Week 2 of the NFL
Not a whole lot of really good games to play here. However, I found two of some interest...
TITANS +2 1/2 over COLTS
Lets see...Titans beat the defending AFC Champs, the Colts need a last-second field goal to beat the Browns...AND THE COLTS ARE FAVORITES? Not only do I see this bet, but I see Tennessee winning this one by 10-14 points.
SEAHAWKS -4 1/2 over CARDINALS
Simple. Seattle wins decisively over the Saints, and the Cards lose by a mile to DETROIT, OF ALL TEAMS! Seattle wins by a street here.
Any other football "swamis" out there?

I agree with you on the Titans. They are damn good. I think they are going to go far this year with McNair.

Not to sound like I'm rooting for the home team, but what about the 49ers +3 vs the Rams?
Mike Martz is showing the world that he is a lousy coach yet again (Marshall Faulk carries the ball less than ten times vs NYG). The quarterback merry go round continues with Mark Bulger starting Sunday. Yeah, Bulger was 6-1 last year, but he faced teams that ranked in the bottom third of the NFL in 6 of those games (exception being the Raiders).
The Forty Niners have a young, FAST defense that will be blitzing Bulger at every opportunity. And Jeff Garcia looked good (even though it was against the Bears). I see an outright win here, getting points makes it all the sweeter.

Well, Titans got crushed earlier today. However, my big bet, the Seahawks, are up 24-0 at the half. Day may turn out to be okay.

Guess the Titans Bounced , still look better than the Eagles. Glad I don't bet NFL. Losing at the races is enough for me.

Well, I pushed on the Forty Niner game. Still up on the day thanks to a Buffalo/Seattle parlay. Gonna put all my winnings on Minnesota tonight.

You should've won the SF bet. If the idiot WR Wilson goes down and calls timeout, they've got a few seconds for a last second FG. Instead, he thought he could outrun the entire Rams defense and the clock ran out.
