Blue Moon Ace - Kevin Patterson - 11.22 Penn National r4
Don’t know if he will be ok or if he passed, but what a shame.
Hope the regulators take a look given the trainer and his percentages.

He was euthanized.
Here is Patterson's career record. You can see when the light went on and he figured out how to train, almost like magic.

Another six figure stakes race, at a Penn Gaming track and either a breakdown, injury or in this case, a horse having to be put down.
Absolutely pathetic and what a disgraceful operation!

Some pretty good horses shipped in for that event. They didn't have a problem.

throughout the century there's been one constant in the region's high percentages and it ain't kevin Patterson.

I'm quite certain Mr. Patterson won't cheat again. This penalty is just far too harsh to take a chance.

Pathetic. Doesn't really matter, the owner would just find the next miracle worker to add to his long list of discoveries.

I know it’s en vogue to bash KP but what about the list of single digit percentage trainers that get bad tests everyday?
On another point... here’s the worst suspension I’ve ever seen... look it up on ARCI rulings. Joan Reynolds gets a positive for a horse back on November 16. She gets 15 days from 12/24-1/7. Well guess what? Charles Town is dark 12/24-1/9. Now that is what is pathetic.

That is also pathetic. But here is the thing...of course a guy like Patterson is going to get more flack because it is perceived he is taking an edge and winning. It looks particularly bad when a horse with a COBALT positive breaks down and is euthanized two races later with another (probably drug aided) win in between.
We all know it isn't Patterson calling the shots.

joan Reynolds is actually like 24% at ct and has a pretty high place percentage too.
I say jk simmons plays kevin Patterson in the movie with biff from back to the future playing the shot-calling "mr big."
good points by everyone!
