Never thought that a little beer and a train ride could kill a campaign so quickly but she did it. Amazing.

Reminds me of the faux reality spot for sissy John Kerry in 2001 when they had him dressed in real man hunting clothes while lugging a shotgun in a way that would make any 90 year old grandmother proud.
However nothing will top Mike Dukakis riding around in the Army tank looking like the president of the Dork of the Month Club.

Edit: Ocala Mike beat me to it! Great minds thinking alike!

Bernie Sanders.

Just handicapping the race. Even money on Bernie would be fair odds. That may change as post time approaches.

As George H.W. Bush would have said, "Nope. Not gonna happen."

Running:

Julian Castro is supposed to announce today. Guy was "the future" a decade ago. Represents the moderate center-left of the spectrum. Moderate centrist democrat like Hillary or Obama.

Tulsi Gabbard confirmed it in an interview with a formal announcement to follow. She's kind of all over the map. Among the LGBT community she's questionable but she gets the Bernie Buddy cred. Liberal...?

Others:

Sherrod Brown is heading to Iowa... he's one of the more capable candidates with Rust Belt credentials. Liberal to SocDem wing of the party.

Kamala Harris has made some hires recently including some PR folks. Is expected to be one of the front-runners if she declares. Moderate centrist democrat.

Her and Brown are being severely underrated as candidates in my opinion.

The real issue is who gobbles up what blocks? There are definitely better name recognition candidates to gobble up the SocDem/Liberal wing than them...

Spare Absentee ballots will be ordered by EOM.

Actually I hope you're right. Nominating Sanders would be giving the general election to Trump. Still i think he would be the strongest candidate in the primaries.

A Sanders v. Trump race would be quite entertaining. It would be socialism v. capitalism. Socialism might even win.

Trump and Bernie would actually have a hard time finding daylight to separate them on a surprising number of issues.

Their trade policies are identical. They're both isolationists. Bernie is also probably more populist than Trump is on a variety of domestic issues.

Would be a weird one.

Bernie has zero shot.
He flew under the radar last time.
No way he gets close this time.
The new castrati dems will never allow it.

Neither Bernie nor Hillary should be on any list. I don't want anyone my age or older as President. Of course Trump is my age also. God help us all!
The Democrats are doomed in 2020. Fasten your seatbelts, it's gonna be a "Trumpy" ride for the next 6 years.

I think Trump is less likely to run than win at this point...

I have a feeling that he will announce that his presidency was a success and call it quits.
