Prince was beautiful, and that is a nice photo with the swans.

As a three-year-old.

Cappy at ten-years-old. Both were best buddies 'til the end.

Thank you, Robert...very nice of you to say.

Prince being a swimmer and a bird dog, I was surprised that he didn't go in after the very close swans, but he didn't. He had a great disposition, as do most German Shorthair Pointers.

None of my GSPs were trained to hunt; however, Prince knew exactly what to do, when he spotted a pelican sitting on a pole in FL, while visiting relatives with me one year. Unfortunately, the picture quality is poor.

You could not be further from the truth. Owned retrievers(golden and flat coat) for over 3 decades including now; grew up with a minimum of two beagles at all times, often with litters of 5 pups, went along to field trials, saw several win. Have owned 3 cats total, like them almost as well.
