Back in states, need advice from those in industry?
Well my tour in Afghanistan ended little over a month ago and I am back in the good ole USA! Now since I am a reservist I am back and have been hunting for a job to get me heading in the direction of learning about racing partnerships! It has been my dream to get into this and I have spoken to many prominent partnership managers and they have been very helpful.
However, I am still out looking and I might have to work for a track or bloodstock agency as a secondary option, since I am struggling finding something. Those options are not exactly what I am looking for but it does give me the opportunity to learn more about the whole business that I still need to know. My question is do any of you have any recommendations of businesses, people or people of influence to try?
Thank You,
Bane

Have you attended a TOBA New Owner's Seminar? If not, it might be helpful. Glad you made it back safely, thanks for your service and best of luck!

Welcome back Bane!
Hopefully someone who has inside pull in the industry will see this thread and offer some great advice. I know that Barry Irwin (from Team Valor) posts on some boards, not sure if he posts here or not, but he's around on these boards, maybe he can give you a nugget of advice on this.

Thanks guys for the welcome wishes!!
Big Mack pretty much all the major states with a strong racing series, or any position the pays decently that has good growth potential! It's a business of being able to sit chilly, don't see too many young guys ahead of the game. Got to find a great mentor and as a heck of a horse trainer told me in my youth, "just be quiet and listen".

Welcome Back. Thanks for giving of yourself and serving for all of us. Have you considered the Racetrack Industry Program at the University of Arizona?

Thank you so much for keeping us safe and doing what you do, Bane! A warm welcome home and I hope you have much success!
I was going to suggest the same thing that Vic Stauffer suggested.
