You're probably right as this appears to be a pace dependent horse but Equibase did give that Tampa renewal the second biggest figure (110) since Street Sense pulled a 112 and the third biggest figure since they started keeping score in 1991. The final 2.5 panels in 30.63 (which would translate to about a very strong ~37 second final 3/8th if no deceleration) is solid. For those who ascribe to Stanley Caris metrics, the horse is a Buckpasser-x and has the strong tail female Affection.
I have him covered in the All Others future pool exacta boxes and will leave it at that. Feels like an Oxbow type of horse that will finish sixth in Derby then over-perform in the Preakness.
