Bridgejumper just jumped at Belmont

Hope the horse is ok as he fell out of the gate. Horse was a maiden going long for the first time so a great bet against if you play against bridgejumpers.

I still contend a huge percentage of bridge jumpers are betting w/stolen, ill-gotten funds....at least that's been the case with every bridge jumper I've come into contact with.

Sure Sounds Like It

What did he bet? 50,000 to show.? This bridgejumper is no expert. Sounds like an amateur waiting to pounce on the first horse that goes 1 to 2. A bridgejumper, the best bet would be a win - machine or a lone speed type favorite. They don't know anything. An awful way to lose 50 thousand. He probably already jumped.

No idea why you would choose this to bridgejump on. 2YO Maidens, enough said.

Probably was Darley stable trying to justify the purchase.

Maybe he bet $80K on a horse that was sure to lose, but bet $100K with various bookmakers on the other horses he thought would win and got track odds?

Wouldn't be the first time the show pool was manipulated to screw overseas books.

In the scenario I mentioned, it could just be an arbitrage play. There are always risks in any market. The key is knowing how to limit the downside risk.
