I can't open it at all.

Shame on you! Using a Microsoft product when many other options are available. Go ahead and try to sell me on it.

Edge
Edge plays videos far better than Chrome.
Google itself sucks.

Try again, I think the point is moot. Best choice here for me is cell phone internet, the service has become over sold. I have to use my phone as a hotspot and Windows 10 seems to hate my internet whether I use WiFi or Tethering.
On the best days I can stream at 720p often I have to dial it down lower.
I have an open mind I have a lot of browsers loaded up, I will try Edge and report back.

https://www.wikihow.com/Microsoft-Edge-Won%27t-Open
Just found this online……..maybe look through it Tommy!
My guess is this might fix it
You can use the Repair tool in Edge to fix corrupt files. If Edge didn't open in InPrivate, you can repair your installation from your Windows settings. Make sure you're logged in as an administrator and follow these steps:
Click the Start menu and go to Settings > Apps.
If you have Windows 11, click Installed apps. On Windows 10, click Apps & Features.[1]
On Windows 10, select Microsoft Edge. On Windows 11, click the three vertical dots on Microsoft Edge instead.
Click Modify and select Yes.
Click Repair and follow the on-screen instructions.

In spite of my hatred of anything Microsoft, I opened videos in both Edge and Firefox. Do note my internet is horrible, it is Friday Night where it sucks the worst because all the I-95 traffic. Firefox barely edged out Edge. Cell internet, heavy traffic next to my tower and a heavy down pour. Right now I
have videos pausing at 144p and ESPN won't load the baseball scores.
Since Ralph showed up and he has spoken on wanting to move around here, I recommend he definitely does not consider property where good internet is not available.

I had this problem just the other day (would click on the Edge icon on the taskbar and nothing would open).
Now I can't remember how I fixed it...I think maybe what I did was open task manager and scrolled down the list of open processes (sort by name to make it easier) and right clicked on anything that said Microsoft Edge and chose END TASK.
Try that...
If you have nothing in task manager that says Microsoft Edge or Edge, then something else is causing it...

I has Chrome running while trying to launch Edge. Once I closed Chrome, Edge came ight up. Now, it runs even if Chrome is open.
Thanks or the replie, I guess when uyou use MS, you need to expext randomness.

So I am looking to move to more friendly betting environment while maintaining the same or better square footage for my home. Florida seems attractive because I want not only friendly betting from home but a super home track to go to.
So to Tom, you are not going to find better video playback better than a tablet. Life is too short to mess around with software company's who tell you what you want instead of "voice of the customer" Apple and Samsung are the way to go for tablets. One computer that does it all and has the markings "Microsoft" always needs a bottle of tums handy.

Have you been to Florida? I only went once, but my girlfriend's sister lives in Alabama on the border and says you get 5-6 months of heat with humidity a year, to me 2-3 months of that is enough.
